The Payroll Clerk is responsible for the accurate processing of payroll through a computerized payroll and attendance program and providing administrative support to the Human Resources Manager on all personnel matters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Review downloaded time and attendance information from electronic time clocks for completeness and accuracy.
• Contact various department supervisors and managers for missed times.
• Apply Paid Time Off or Holiday hours to electronic time cards.
• Accurately process bi-weekly payroll using computerized payroll system.
• Accurately process commissions, bonuses, retroactive pay, etc.
• Update employee records to include changes to personal information, pay rates, direct deposits, deductions, liens, garnishments, etc.
• Track Paid Time Off.
• Process payroll reports as needed.
• Enter new employees in payroll system.
• Conduct new employee orientations.
• Verify and maintain I-9 documentation and process E-Verify.
• Prepare new employee files.
• Conduct benefits enrollments for new employees.
• File documents into appropriate employee files.
• Interact with and assist employees by answering questions and resolving discrepancies regarding payroll, benefits, etc.
• Additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
• Payroll experience required.
• Experience with ADP Payroll and Time and Attendance preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Skills/Qualifications:
• Ability to maintain confidentiality is mandatory.
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.
• Excellent electronic communication and functional ability.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess initiative, energy and drive.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with co-workers and management.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

• None
Physical Demands:
• Ability to constantly operate computer and other office equipment.
• Ability to frequently move about the office.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
